Turnkey Generator Solutions
For customers with bespoke requirements we offer a complete design and manufacture service of 250KW - 3MW generators.
Working from our purpose-built assembly unit in the Northern Iraq, we can develop generators and control systems according to customers' own designs and specifications, with mains synchronisation by means of G59 compliant equipment, multiple generator set applications or ‘no brake’ ASCO transfer systems. Additionally, can offer a full site survey and work to develop a design in part or full.
Diesel Generator Installation
Whether you have ordered a standard set or bespoke generator, our full installation service ensures complete continuity for customers. Carried out by our skilled engineers, we oversee the offload of machinery into position, conduct a thorough mechanical and electrical installation and fully test and commission the generator before handing it over to the customer with our comprehensive documentation package(O&M manuals containing all drawings, instructions and information).
In addition, Generator & Switchgear Services have an owned dedicated fleet of temporary mobile generators based at our depots around the Kurdistan to be able to offer customers with standby power facilities during installation and commissioning works on new or replacement sets on site. This means that we can control all aspects of the installation project from start to finish.
Generator refurbishments & upgrades

Diesel Generator & Genset Planned Maintenance
Service and maintenance of diesel generators is key to backup power reliability. A well-planned maintenance programme is essential to the operation of any emergency power generation system.
As there is no such thing as a 'maintenance free' power supply system, all diesel generators need to service regularly to ensure that they are operating efficiently and that their start-up batteries are in good working order. Weak or undercharged starting batteries are one of the most common causes of standby power system failures. Even when kept fully charged and maintained, lead-acid starting batteries are subject to deterioration over time and must be replaced periodically when they no longer hold a proper charge. Only a regular schedule of inspection and testing under load can prevent diesel generator starting problems.
