WELL SITE OPERATIONS

Halband is one of the main area of expertise. Coupled expertise in Flow Assurance and Operations Readiness, we offer services that combine these areas to provide a systems approach to well operations. Halband provides full wellsite operations in addition to maintenance and site management services.

Wellsite operations can include:

DESIGN & ENGINEERING

Projects are complex, especially deepwater projects. Multiple teams in multiple locations must come together to provide a functioning asset that can meet the demand. At this stage, it's all about coordination. Failure to do so results in flawed designs, facilities that are hard to operate, cost overruns and strained relationships. But with our systems approach, we aim to ease these side effects and provide expertise to facility designs that will, in the end, create reliable assets.

Project Management

Halband have OEM for Mud logging units/ Mud logging services provider. We have been able to carve out major share of the mud logging business. Midstream

The midstream sector of the oil and gas industry involves the transportation and storage of oil and gas produced from the upstream facilities. Our expertise lies with pipeline management including oversight of inspection, maintenance and repair work, tracking of Key Performance Indicators and optimization of pipeline transportation.

HALBAND also handling of EPC & lease (BOO & BOOT) contracts for production systems and production facilities where we engineer, design, construct, commission, operate and maintain facilities for hydrocarbon processing requirements of our clients.

Lubricant Product Manufacturing

We utilize the state of the art technologies when it comes to lubricant production. Our lubricant is also being manufacture to handle the extreme operating conditions, like hot weather in Iraq. Paint product Manufacturing

Fuel Oil

Halband supplies quality and advance fuel oil to various industries in Iraq Our fuel oils are mostly use by industries for process heating, steam generation and power generation, and marine vessels.

Our quality fuel oils come in two main grades, which are Fuel Oil 80cst, Fuel Oil 180cst and DMC. These fuel oils are highly suitable to majority of the boilers, furnaces and ovens.

Bitumen

Bitumen is available in a variety of grades. Bitumen is graded according to standardized testing methods , These tests also give rise to two commonly used terms which describe the method of measurement, rather than a "type" of bitumen.

Bitumen is classified by the depth to which a standard needle will penetrate under specified test conditions. This “pen” test classification is used to indicate the hardness of bitumen, lower penetration values indicating a harder bitumen, higher values e.g. 160/220 indicate a softer grade. Specifications for penetration graded bitumens normally state the penetration range for a grade, e.g. 50/70. Other tests are used to classify the bitumen for specification purposes, such as softening point, solubility, flash point etc.
